Total body warm up(Functional movements of the week)

Hello everyone,

Hope all is well. So, I know some people have issues with getting it together in the morning. A lot of us aren’t morning people. Some of us take a little longer than others. Couple of reasons, not enough sleep. Most people don’t understand how the body sleep cycle operates. More importantly, how their sleep cycle works.

Another reason, some may experience aches, pains, and stiffness in certain areas of the body. The body is stationary while you sleep, so depending on how you sleep. Maybe, the reason for some of these issues. You also may want to check your mattress and bed.

Lack of energy is another reason most people struggle in the morning. What helps with aches and pains and a good way to jump-start your day and gain some energy. MOVEMENT!get up in the morning and move. Stretch and a quick workout. Exercise/movement gets the blood flowing and the heart rate going. This will give you more energy. With more energy, you’ll have better focus and a feeling of accomplishment.

Try this total body warm up Circuit

1. Inchworms to squat

2. Back lunge to Inchworms

3. Lateral lunge skips( lateral lunges can be done as a modified version)

4.Push up to mountain climbers

Perform all the way through with only 30 seconds of rest in between each movement. Perform 3 rounds of 5-10 reps.
