In today’s society, we spend most of our time seated and inactive. Due to such a lack of activity, cardiovascular disease has become the leading cause of death in the United States. Besides cardiovascular disease, muscle imbalances develop within the body. These imbalances lead to dysfunction, which can then lead to injury. The neck and shoulder complex are two common areas where dysfunction occurs.
Staying active along with consistent exercise will help prevent dysfunction.
