Do you occasionally have a sweet tooth? Would you like to enjoy a treat without feeling guilty? I know I do. When I decided to shift my eating style to a more high-fat low carb diet. My body began to really crave sugar.
When consuming higher fats and lower carbs your body begins to deplete itself of stored sugar. Carbs and fats are primary sources of energy for the body. Glucose is used as energy for living cells. Unfortunately, most of our glucose comes from refined sugars and fructose corn syrup. If you haven’t already read my blog Are you a sugar addict?
I had a sweet tooth for chocolate but I didn’t want to go out and buy anything. I looked up a recipe for low sugar brownie and found this recipe that is also vegan-friendly.
