Try this chicken cheese pasta recipe. Low in carbs and extremely delicious. I love pasta but pasta can be high in carbohydrates. One a Ketogenic diet you want to keep your intake low. Now, I have nothing against strict diets, especially if your training for something. My issue with these strict diets is the likelihood of someone sticking to it.
I’m more of a food science kind of guy. That’s why I’m a fan of the Ketogenic diet.
Here are the ingredients I used
- 1 cup of spinach
- 1 cup of kale
- 1 zucchini
- 1/2 tomato
- Pasta sauce
- 2 eggs
- 4oz thick chicken breast
- 1 cup organic noodle shells
I first chopped up the greens for I will be using them in the past sauce. Season the chicken, coat in egg batter, and grill on a medium skillet. I used avocado oil, you can use a cooking oil of your choice. Once the chicken is done, heat up the pasta sauce and add the greens. Add the cooked chicken to the sauce and stir in. Make sure to lower the heat. Add some cheese and let it sit for a minute to melt.
